We at dp Doors have been working very closely with our Health & Safety Consultant to raise the already high standards of our Health & Safety Policy.
Dp Doors are pleased to announce that their application has been assessed as compliant and from 26th January 2009 are now a CHAS registered contractor, we have now applied for the Certificate of Accreditation to enable us to use the Logo on our Livery and Stationery.

FIRE ROLLER SHUTTER DOORS
Here at dp Doors we have designed a new Fire Shutter Door which was sent to the Warrington fire Research Test Laboratory where it was installed on a furnace wall then tested from 1 - 4 hours in accordance with BS 476: Part 22: 1987, Clause 8.
The test results were very successful for dp Doors, we are now able to manufacture Fire Shutters up to 7mtr x 7mtr clear openings.
dp Doors are now in a position to provide the market with Fire Roller Shutters Doors at a much more competative price.

LATEST PROJECTS
Late in 2008 dp Doors tendered for the supply and installation of 6 High speed Doors & 3 Roller Shutter Doors for Outokumpu Stainless Ltd, Sheffield.
Dp were successful with the tender and were awarded the contract, an additional High Speed Door was supplied for the Finishing Bay taking the contract value to £61k
Installation was completed early March 2009.

Dp Doors and Shutters Ltd have been awarded a contract from T & C Williams Ltd,Sheffield.
The new contract is to supply and install 37 Electrically operated window & door security shutters. The Proposed site is a new Doctors Surgery and Medical Centre in Sheffield.
Our Technical Department and Drawing Office are working closely with the main Contractors
and Architects to design in built shutters, so not to detract from the buildings design.
We expect to commence on site early May 2009.
Dp DOORS FACTORY EXTENSION
We have recently under gone a major refurbishment by building an extension to the existing Factory based in Sheffield, this has taken the floor space from 4500sq ft to 10000sq ft.
Future plans include a large mezzanine floor which will be used for extra offices and storage space.
With all these plans, dp Doors will be better placed in the future for the growth in manufacturing of new products such as Fire Shutter Doors & High Speed Doors.
