How We Work

All jobs are measured and assessed  by our own surveyors prior to manufacture of  doors.

 

It is not our policy to send engineers to site to carry out work without first surveying the job.

 

The purpose of the survey is threefold:

 

Firstly to confirm dimensions and ensure the door will fit, secondly to assess the health & safety risks that may be present during the installation, and finally to confirm the best and safest method of  installing the door.

 

Our surveyor will complete standard documentation confirming the door details and specifications, and the information necessary to complete full risk assessment and method statement. This information will be used to compile full manufacturing drawings in the case of roller shutter doors, and the compilation of the method statement and risk assesments .

 

Copies of these will be issued to the client for approval prior to manufacture and /or commencing on site.


 

The purpose of the survey is not only to confirm  dimensions but ensure the door can be installed in a safe manner without risk to our staff and others in the vicinity.
